One of the very important tips and tricks that not many people know when working on a marketing strategy for any client:
❌ The common approach that most people I’ve encountered follow is to start by analyzing the market, segmenting it, targeting a specific audience, and then proceeding with the rest of the process as usual.

✅ However, in my opinion, the right way is that the best strategy is determined after selecting the segment. Based on that, you decide the most suitable strategy or marketing activities to target the chosen segment effectively.

So, the best approach to determine the strategy is to first define your segmentations and then identify the most appropriate strategy and marketing activities that align with that segment. This ensures you’re targeting them effectively and appropriately.
